  • trying to determine shock valving

I've been asked by multiple people what the valving is on a set of 5100's im selling, and I've been searching around with no luck.

The part number on the shock reads: F4-BE5-A940-H6

There's also a number engraved into the body itself which reads: 2808BE5-A940H6

Any insight would be much appreciated.

5100s are kinda gay with that as theyre valved vehicle/style specific for 'oem replacement' or whatever they wanna call it

im going to assume softer than average, somewhere in the 170/60 area

Yea, that's all I've been able to come up with.

I get a bunch of hits on the part number, but all it says is "XJ/ZJ/TJ 4.5"-6.5" longarm. Or something to that nature.

Then it will ramble on about monotube design, superior valving, etc.

edit: It probably won't matter anways, it looks like they are sold.
