main shaft

Any one know if the main shaft from a np231 out of a dodge will fit into a np231 out of a jeep? most of the case is the same.

I'm pretty sure they will fit, It's probably the exact same part number. I think the only difference in main shafts is if it an External or Internal slip yoke.

I'm sure plenty of use on here have spares you get one for every SYE.

Thanks for the response. My friend just ended up buying another dodge one to save everyone the hassle of trying to swap 'em.
