  • Horn/cruise/airbag problems

I posted this on jeep forum, but I really don't expect any sort of educated response there.

My Cruise, Airbags, and horn don't work. Before you say clockspring, I just replaced the entire steering column this morning, which came with a new clockspring. My airbag light is still on, my horns wont honk, and my cruise control wont engage. Is there a main relay or fuse for all of this stuff?

    Thanks.

Are you 100 percent positive this "new" clockspring is functioning correctly? It definitely sounds like the problem to me.

Yeah I just wanted to believe it wasnt the clockspring, but it has to be. I suppose the new one isn't good, oh well. I got it real cheap anyway.

run power straight to the horn and see if it even works
i thought just airbags used a clockspring but i could be wrong

If I understand correctly the horn and cruise need the clock spring as well.
