318 oil pressure?

I have a 95 ZJ as most of you know with the 5.2. When I first got it, it looked like it was a quart low or so, so I added a quart. The oil pressure, on idle, is right in the middle. On acceleration, it goes almost to the max of 80 (psi i guess?). Now, 3 months later, its still doing the same thing. Yet, I checked the oil last night and it was almost 2 quarts low. I added a quart and the pressure is again ridiculously high. It it normal for this engine to have high oil pressure like that or could something be wrong?

try a mechanical gauge. i dont trust stupid jeep gauges.

im not mechanically inclined enough to use an oil guage.

my freinds does the same thing if it makes you feel any better lol and he has the 318 also
