    does that have torsion bars? you could always crank them up a a few inches and throw block in the rear

            that 4x4 i just posted has the split front axle thing with coil springs, then most 2wd rangers have coil springs

              alot of 1/2 ton and down ford trucks for the mid 70's - through whenever have coil spring front ends, my 85 ranger i built with half ton axles and a smallblock 302, had leafs up front...

                  This is what i was getting at. they didnt have torsion bars either way, it was the coil 2 piece axle or it was a coiled IFS

                              haha, looks like it belongs buried in weeds behind a barn I know. But take off the running boards, gay gramps cap,fog lights, add black steelies and 31's......... and I have stylish piece of history. gonna try to check it out this weekend,

                                3" is still on the high side of things. 1-2" is what i want. spacers & shackles? XJ coils? other leafs?
