Is there a way to make my horn beep/lights flash when I lock/unlock my car? The range is pretty weak and it is hard to tell if it is locked when I walk away. I can at least tell when it unlocks since the overhead lights come on. My uncle's old Dakota had the same key fob and he had the opposite problem of wanting to turn off the horn

The horn should go off if you hit the lock button twice. You might want to change the battery in your remote.

you can hook your horn up so it goes off when it locks. You hook it to the wire that locks the door which should give you a short beep from the horn.
