if you think that an arc welder will be enough go with the arc welder just make sure you have the right rod if it will save you 400$ It shouldnt be to hard to find someone with a mig welder that you know or a member here?

Upgrading tonight. Do you guys know if there is any sort of waiting period before you are allowed to use the tow when you upgrade?

there is no way u should be charged 400 dollars to weld 2 mounts on. cut off, weld on.

u dont have to remove and drain the axle, that is incorrect. hopefully someone here with a welder can throw u a bone

Yeah I'm definitely cancelling this appointment, I was hesitant to even ask a shop to do the job. I was hoping someone would bite before tonight when I was supposed to bring it.

Berlin is a haul for me. This is a pretty simple job, though.

This is exactly what I need, is this a mig welder? Just through casual conversation I've found that most people say this is whats going to be needed for the job. The passenger mount snapped off but the driver side will need to be cut off. You have anything we can cut that off with? The passenger side may also need to be ground down a bit. I've got a bunch of tools we can use to get the old control arms off with. I'm up in Berlin, where are you located? This weekend would be perfect.
