so once i finish building my hd track bar im going to rebuild my tie rod and drag link to better suit my crossover steering setup(run smaller rod ends, as opposed to the ones that came with the COR1T setup) my question is do i rebuild with short stem gm tie rod ends, or go with thru bolt heim joint? my steering is already bored to 7/8" on the tera knuckle and im planning to bore the drivers side to drop in an insert for the gm tie rod option so i can go otk. however i think i have my decision, i just want to see what everyone else thinks.

im also considering price, the rod ends are 28.99 for left or right, the tres from work are 25.99 for the right side, but 45.99 for the left, and have to be transfered usually cause we only really keep es2027 and es2026 in stock, and even still i think theyre pulling alot of our larger rod end inventory cause of low sales, i havent seen them come through in a few weeks

go with TRE's..... i have 3/4 heims for steering.. and they get so damn sqeeky with any moisture in the air...

no but seriously, im just going to go with the TREs, i was talking to my friend who runs rod ends on the mkmodified he works on and he said they go though them like nothing and they get dirty way too easily, non greasable, not(as)strong. he said the only reason they run them is because theyre light.
