89 cherokee calipers

I have been to 2 part stores in 2 separate areas, and been through 3 calipers for the driver side.

Everytime I am handed a driverside caliper, the bleeder ends up being on the bottom.

How does this make any fawking sense? is this some space time conundrum for 89 cherokees? the one that came off it had the bleeder up top, but it seems every damn part number calls for a caliper that looks like its for the passenger side.

are you telling them "left or right"?

some morons at parts stores don't know if left ot right is determined form looking at the car from the front or sitting in the drivers seat.

tried that as well, looked the same

i find it hard to believe that 3 separate occasions i got the wrong part at 2 places, but its the only explanation, thus making me despise part stores

then i decided napa would be a good idea

when part numbers attribute something to "front left" wtf perspective is that being determined from?

its from the perspective of the driver

I checked my computer here at my work (NAPA) and the footnotes say "Calipers may be reversed. check front or rear mount. Bleeder screw needs to be at the top when mounted."
