Im possibly getting a 95 cherokee MINT but it has no title.. it has the 4.0 HO in it my question is will that motor go into my 98 XJ with no problems?? and is the HO really that much of a differance i want it becuase it has less miles than mine and its all rebuilt

It will be fine. You need to use the 98 harness and maybe some sensors but than that it should be the same.

i swapped a 98 in a 91 without issue, the only difference is the 98 didnt have a spot for the coolant temp sensor (guage only) so i drilled and tapped my thermostat housing.

i'd say about the only difference would be some sensors and your injectors ( easy to change)
