  • BA10/5 -> AX15 master cyl

    I found a $200 AX15 (with external slave) so it's finally time to toss the Peugeot tranny. Does anybody know if the master cyl from the Peugeot will work with the AX15 or am I going to have to go raid the junk yard for a new master cyl? (Or does anyone have an AX15 master cyl kicking around?)

    I believe you will need to redo your hyd lines, but I think with that aside, everythng else should be fine. I believe my yj has the "original" master... Or atleast the same master as for ba 10/5. I'll check later today to confirm

      from what i remember the master to slave is 1 piece. That is the way it comes from jeep and you can order another one for 70 dollars already bled. Its is all hooked up and ready to go in, undo 2 nuts on the firewall for the slave then the 2 nuts on the tranny. The only reason i do not think you will be able to use yours is because the lines are not screwed in they have a metal dowel pin holding the lines in.
