mine just died. what should i replace it with? i was reading somewhere that a zj alternator can be rigged to fit? i looked into mean green but their like 400$? i don't really need anything crazy just looking for the best bang for the buck. i do have a winch, higher amperage would help so i wouldn't have to rev as much while under heavy load.

you can have it rebuilt to put out more power, i have done it before and it was only like 80 bucks1996 xj, waggy 44 front 5.13 gears aussie trussed, 3 links, 3.5" coils, spooled 8.8 rear, 38" tsl sx's, tnt front bumper, jesus freaks rear bumper, Olympic top hat roof rack, bunch of dumb shit
