ZJ power window/door lock troubles

1996 ZJ.

My mother's ZJ has power windows and locks which have magically stopped functioning, when you activate the power lock, you can hear a faint click inside the door, similar to what a relay sounds like

anyone know anything about these things to gimme some ideas on probable causes/fixes?

the power locks and windows dont work on any door? do you get a click from each door when you try them?

are the locks and windows all on one big switch? if so that switch could be bad. if they are separate it has to be a short or blown fuse/relay beyond the switch but in the drivers door most likely

They are a one switch unit and they are wired in series like the speakers...so if one switch stops working the one behind it will as well check the contacts to they are salvageable.

just the driver door i found out doesnt work...only gives me a click when trying to activate the locks...the windows dont gimme anything

Bad switch or a faulty wire possibly....
