when I tried to wire my first set of lights with the help of some friends, I got smoke and sparks, unfortunately mine came from the mess of wires and fuses under the hood. Well my asshole friend wired the power straight to the ground somehow and burned up a wire. I didn't think we'd ever find it, but eventually we did.

i don't know, all I know is that the power wire went straight to one of the bolts on the bumper for the winch and it was on the factory switch so it burned up some shit.
