I remember reading somewhere about measuring from axle tube to someplace else either on here or another site but i can't find it. Anybody got any ideas?

Because i lowered mah shit down.
Yea i could figure that out, i just don't have a stock xj lying in my room that i can pull out of the closet. I was wondering if anybody knew any measurements off the top of their head.Originally posted by HeavyMetal View Postmeasure from the center of your wheel/hub to the body line on the fender...the crease.

My bad, I figured you knew what i meant.Originally posted by HeavyMetal View Postthen u shoulda asked that
It effects something because im not installing a pre-determined lift kit. I'm dropping leafs, and cutting coils. If i wanted to know how to measure what size shock i should run i would have posted that. I apologize if i sound like like im trying to be a dick because i'm not, i just asked a question for a reason and that is all. I know i'm going to be between 5-6 inches of lift so i've already ordered my shocks. I lowered my jeep down and i have a rough estimate what it is, i'm just curious to how close i came to what i was aiming for.Originally posted by grundlepunch View Postso you lowered it down, how does knowing the numerical amount of lift affect anything
if your measuring for shocks your betting off just taking the shock measurements anyways
Thanks for that info, because i'm pretty sure the rear is taller from what i can see which is exactly the reason i posted this. I'm not whining, i asked a question for 1 reason, and 1 reason only. To see if anybody had any way to measure lift height if your fenders have already been trimmed. I was curious, that is all.Originally posted by Ktmracer419 View Posti know from the hub to fender crease in the front is 20" for a stocker
and if it sits level than ya got the same amount in back and quit yer whining
