think a master cylinder for the brakes from a 96xj bolt right inplace in my 89?..as it is much more modern haha.

yes sir. use the prop valve as well. If I remember right you may have to modify the little piece that the pedal connects to. Once you pull the 89 master cyl and compare to the 96 you'll see what I mean.
