    a buddy of mine jus tpicked up a grand cherokee limited. is it possible to take the front springs and transfer them to the rear for some lift? if it is possible how much lift would he get...

    yes. about 2" i think. maybe more.

            It will net you around 2-3" of lift but it will make the ride really stiff and uncomfortable. I would recommend removing the current coil spacers and getting a set of 2" coil spacers this will allow him to fit 30-31" tires and still maintain the ride quality he has. If he wants to go taller a lift kit with lower arms is really the only way to go otherwise the ride will be rough and in the long run will wear the stock arm's bushings out quickly.

            Here's the spacer set I recommend for a good entry level ZJ kit.

              okay thanks for the input. i suggested spacers for him, but he wants to do a full coil lift. ohhhhh wellll
