that sounds like a lot of fun..... i'm guessing drill it then hit it with a chisel? crack it and pull it out?? cause i deff can't get a grinder to that thing.

Cut off the bearing retainer and then cut the piece pressed onto the shaft. I would use an angle grinder and cut it at a 45 and then smack it with a hammer and chisel.

But what do i know i use a winch.

chances are if i had the financial ability to have a cool bumper and fancy winch i would have one. but until then i need to make them seem not soo cool so i'm not incredulously jealous.....

one reinforced cutting wheel does the trick

cut in 2 places and it practically falls out

i was confizzled. u could pull my race out when i changed mine. But i was told and will extend the same advice that if it doesn't look too worn and its not different colors because of excessive heat i would run it.

oh and i built my bumpa kracka

well its in good condition i figured i'd just change it cause the new bearing comes with one. but knowing that i might not even touch it.

it was really only the seal that was bad, but i figured while its out, put a new bearing on it.
