so my cd player in my jeep (comanjeep) can play cd-r's that other people make for me

but now that im feelin up to the task to make my own cd-r's. they don't play

    which makes me upset.

do some brands of cd-r's suck?

they play in a regular cdplayer

i get the infamous "err 6"

its not the cd-r's its how you format them. depending on what program your using to burn the cd there should be a few options. normally all newer cd players you can burn a cd-r in data mode/ jukebox mode adding 20+ songs easily as its stored on the cd in orginal mp3/wma format with a max of 700mb. Older cd players you have to burn it in cd / car audio mode where you can only fit about 10-15 songs since it limits the cd-r to 70 minutes.

                      that is odd

i have windows vista and i just highlight dem songs and click the button that says "burn" and bam it burns.

the cd player in my comanche is a piece of crap anyway.

maybe ill get a cheap jvc for it or something
