    Well i work for jeep at a dealership and the guy was right, doing anything to the engine can void your warnt if they want too be a dick about it. Puttin larger tires on your vhl will also void anything they have a direct affect on, which means Diffs, Tcase, Trans, Engine, and suspention parts. If yours is 07 and newer you have a limited lifetime warnt on the powertrain so i wouldnt do anything to mess that up.

    Also it can affect different systems as well, Tranny funtions due to the speed of the tires being different then stock, also it will mess up both traction control and abs functions pretty badly. it can be fixed with aftermarket programing but then you void your warnt by messin with the PCM. pretty much if you want a lifted Jeep sell the new one go buy an older TJ that is already build and go have fun.
