  • Transmission question...

I don't really know what to do, so I guess that would be the question..
    or advice...
    or something..
Im just getting incredibly fed up with the jeep, though im trying to get it to work. No RCrocs for me...

So, I dont' want to keep using the term "bucking," but so far that's the only appropriate phrase I can think of.

I was driving along yesterday, and when I began to accelerate, the jeep decided to jolt a little bit, it went into gear, just really rough.
So tonight, it starting happening a little more..
By the time I was around the block from my house, it was incredibly noticeable, and much rougher.

Again, it does go into gear, just not very smoothly.
I'll try to get Phil to explain it better than me, as he was in the rig as this happened...
Is it egg nog season yet?

Transmission shifts hard, rarely, but it shifts. The Jolt is the transmission jolting into gear. Don't know what it is. Normally transmission shifts smoothly, but every once in a while it jolts into second or third gear. Checked fluid, seemed a little high, but looked good.
