shocks?

so im going to get the new XJ saturday...anyways ive saved my 3.5" RE lift for the time being/OER anyways gonna need some shocks as the old Jeep had a set of blown ones that were useless. stock travel is 8" if im not mistaken, recommendations for length using said lift? i was thinking 10" shocks. but who knows?

lol. looking for a cheap set for now. tossed up between the RE kit and the Rough country 2.2s......same price seems like the 2.2s are the better shock though.

if i run 10" on my older-ish 3.5" kit will i bottom out the shocks a ton and blow them completely to shit, also you said you haz possible 5150s? in the 8" flavor if im not mistaken?

Yeah I have 2 8" 5150s that the top eyelets broke off. I have them too just need to be welded on
