  • np242 hack and tap?

im swapping my 249 out for a 242, whats a good hack and tap kit for it, i have access to a machine shop so install should be a breeze, and it might even come out straight.

i found iron rock offroad, which is $140 for the kit,

the RE kit looks kind of odd, the output flange is just flat, and since im going to run a modded front xj shaft i dont think i can go that route.

so what are my other options?

from what i remember hack and taps were just like the Rubicon Express kit shown, never seen one like the IRO honestly, but i like it better. looks like you might be able to drill a hole in the end of the tail shaft and just bolt it in without worrying about hacking the end off to accommodate? could be wrong
