  • ZJ alignment

im chewing a rear tire, about a 1 inch strip on the outside.

just put a 3.5 lift in it, did a tape measure alignment up front until my new steering gear box comes in.

am i going crazy, there is no way to align the rear end correct?

i guess to many variables, i need to get the front track bar setup right and the front tight and adjusted first.

but right now its chewing passenger rear, and passenger front.

rear trackbar is stock with a drop mount, i will check to see how center the rear axle is tomorrow i guess

Legitimate question, if they were and you had one at the wrong length it could do it.

Check your bearings and jack up the rear end, see if the shaft is bent.

If you really want to check and make sure your wheel base is square hang 4 plumbobs,1 over each corner of the car and just measure.just rest the string on the axle tube and the plumbobs will align themselfs.

the tire wear hes referring to came from this past weekend trip to Dornsife, PA (roughly 120 miles one way for us) on the trip there and back it began chewing things off...before that the tires chewed evenly with the PO...after his lift install they began chewing pretty bad. im sure once he sees this there will be images. and/or clarify if im talking out my arse or not LOL
