  • DOORS??

So I've got a 98 XJ, with power doors. I want to put non power doors on so when i put the doors back on after going doorless, i dont have to deal with all the wiring. Do I just find pre -97 doors, or what??

ok, go buy some non power doors, spray paint them to kinda match the rest of your jeep. then have to plug in your speakers anyway.

or just take 6 seconds to plug something in

alright, I was just outside trying run my wires from the door to inside, and struggling to re connect the wires to the stock connections for a long ass time. Maybe I'm just a fucking dumb ass but, it was not easy. So I dont understand how it can take 6 seconds

the only annoying part is getting them back through the hole into the cab again. they should just plug right in. thats what mine do, they are just 3 or so harnesses

yes the problem was getting them back into the cab again and plugging them in only on the connections passenger side. But my question was do pre 97 doors fit on a 98. I'm sorry if I am being a dick, but I'm just so pissed from putting those connections back in for the first time. And I had so much trouble that I would rather just fucking buy some doors.

ha dont apologize. we have all been there.....but I think you should just keep the doors you have so they match when you put them back on.
