Action Engine Machining in Bridgeport
http://aemsmallengines.com/home.nxg
The guy that runs it name is Ennis
203-367-6056
That is the only guy that we let touch our engines around Trumbull the garage I work at.
He got into small engines because there just isn't a lot of money in building motors anymore. People are a lot more willing to spend $100 on a lawn more than $1000 on a car engine.
Just putting an engine together is different than building an engine.
You need to balance all the parts etc.RCrocs #123 Brown CJ-5

Depends what your looking for.if your looking for someone to redo your motor and just have it stock just about any reputable shop can do so.If your looking to make power do a 4.7 stroker with port and polish and stuff along those lines look for a shop that has done work like that before.sometimes even finding a shop far away(such as having to ship the motor out) that specializes in just jeep motors maybe cheaper just because they know exactly what there doing the first time.

OP what are you looking to do? just "freshin up" your 4.0 or go all out for stroker making 300+HP?
my brother has done a 4.0 already and is in the process of doing a 2nd one similar to the one in the link, check out the first page at least so you can see what goes into an "average" build for him.
