I could never figure out the radius arm unloading thing. Of all the time I wheeled my jeep with them, I never had a problem.
If you really dont want them, but they kit and clearance the floor. It cant be too bad. If they are designed to fit a 35" tire, and will clear until the tire touches the fender, than it doesnt matter if its 4.5 or 6.5". Same uptravel.Dan.

and with the 35s i could have maybe 3 inches of uptravel. idk. ill have to figure it out. i wouldnt mind having the radius setup. its still a long arm. from what i understand the 3 link doesnt have the binding radius has so therefore flexes more freely? correct?98 xj, 4.0, AW4, 231 AA SYE, 4.5"RE/RC, CA drop brackets, 33s, and some other stuff

Correct. No binding with a 3 link. There are some other advantages as wellDan.

I'm sure there is some very good, well thought out reasoning behind that too...Dan.

I ran my radius arm setup for awhile and liked it.
I built a 3 link when i went to 1 tons similar to that clayton setup except I had the upper link on the passenger side (I would think that you would have serious clearance issues in a lower lift cherokee with the driveshaft and the upper link) and it drove the same as it did with the radius arm setup. I have no beef at all with a radius arm.
