    How tough is a non C clip 35? I was wondering if I could wheel on it as I build a 8.25 up

        Wheeling a 35 is like playing Russian roulette... They'll either blow up in fantastic style or do nothing. If you don't have a large tire (31's MAY be safe), and you're easy on the rig, it may last longer than expected. They'll all fail eventually though.

        FWIW, mine blew up just driving on the street with stock size tires... no real hooning involved.

          well I am screwed so It looks like I get to play russian roulette for a couple months but I think that on 235s I may be able to make it live

                been running my 35 welded on street and trails for a few months now, i expect it to break into small pieces, but hasn't yet, mine a c clip axle though

                but really all you need to do is get this kit and it will be great!

                          You dont. Dont change the fluid, and when the gears or axles break you scrap the whole axle and start new.
