Teach me the ways of this art
I'm goin to go thought he floor with my shocks and I'm wondering if tab location on the axle matters like if they are on top of the tube or on the side of the tube(I'm not goin to run hem on he bottom), where's the best place to cut the hole, should the shocks be straight up and down of have a little angle to them, what kinda valueing should I get or will that not matter BC I might be able to retune my shocks

i had to angle mine back a bit so that the rear seat would still function ...... as a seat........ it was pretty easy took dan and i about 3 hours...... i ordered the shock hoops off of trail gear because they were 180 degree bends so i wouldnt have to cut large holes........we welded them to the unibody and then to the floor as well.....

there are lots of pics on facebook and some in my build thread.

mine are straight up and down, mounted directly to the spring plate center via shocktabs. you get the most direct input from the shocks this way as there is no arc to accommodate for in valving/travel.

i can post pics but its basically the same as tims.

been this way since summer 2010 without any problems.

i am running a 10 inch shock.... i left the hoops a little low to accommodate for the shorter shock and i am going to do a good job bump stopping ! and thanks man!!

Here's a top shot of mine.

Just like Tim and will said though. Shock mounts to spring plate. Mine are angled back a bit also to clear the back seat.

If by bling plates you mean the springplates with your bumps on them, what does that have to do with mounting the shock on them? you can still do it...
