i was wondering if anyone has removed the a/c condenser for better air flow to the radiator? is it worth it?

My AC didn't work and I was converting the compressor to use for OBA so I took it out. Figured there was no point in leaving it in obstructing flow considering how easy it was to remove.
My highly scientific method of comparing how much air I felt my e-fan pulling across my hand before and after said it did make a little difference.
My transmission runs cooler now, but I did add a larger cooler at the same time so who knows? Can't see how more air flowing over it at low speeds couldn't have helped a little. Didn't notice much change in engine temp so
If you have an old ass XJ that hasn't had AC working in years, just pull it.97 XJ.

Since it is in there why not use the condenser as a cooler for the trans or steeringRCrocs #123 Brown CJ-5

It is just a metal tube with fins.
A/C flows freon up to 300psi and the tubes are around 3/8" and all together it is huge and fits in your jeep perfect.
Tranny cooler lines is relatively low pressure and low flow.
I wouldn't think twice.RCrocs #123 Brown CJ-5
