as the title states this one isnt at all about jeeps, my bike is the target of knowledge...
So ive been having some fuel delivery issues. now previously the pump is supposed to be intermittent, pumps only when needed via pressure regulator (1.8 psi average), but the pump regulator failed so i instead went out and got a Mr. Gasket #42S micro inline pump for it (replacement used factory style pump is $350)
, problem is it pumps constantly at a self regulated 2 to 3.5 psi. my question is does anyone with knowledge of carbs know what this is going to do? the bike ran BEAUTIFULLY while i was pounding on it but i didnt have time to buzz around and just putt with it. i have a hunch that without another regulator to cut off the fuel at that factory interval i will end up flooding the piss out of it..... any feedback?
bike is 1997 Suzuki GSX-R 600...
i know it isnt a jeep related issue but i REALLY miss the hell out of said scooter
