Clock Spring?

My airbag light has been intermittently going on/off.

Everyone seems to point to the clockspring.

Has anyone ever changed this, or have any other knowledge about it? I personally don't even know what the thing looks like, all i know is that it's somewhere in the steering column. Oh and price, how much does one of these run for?

Ummm I never have done one on an latel model XJ but I did one on my 96, you gotta disarm the airbag and take the steering whee. Its a little plastic collar behind the wheel that and makes it so all your buttons work on the wheel etc, dunno if its actually related to the airbag light or not. As far as price goes, not a clue, I had one laying around and used that. Hope that helps a little
