battery n stuff

so measured voltage across my battery....12.8 static, not running
start up drops roughly to 10.2volts(normal as i remember), changes to 13.8-14.1 volts....at idle with nothing going on
normal up till now right?



crank on heater blower to max, flip on efan, turn on both h3s in my slims and hit the high beams
voltage drops to 13.5 and never recovers.... suggestions?
i have a hunch that i dont have a wiring issue like i once thought i did but rather a bum alternator or not enough alternator to do what needs to be done...possibly bad battery? if i leave my lights on for more than 10 minutes without running it (even just markers) it will not start....

I would.consider that a normal voltage drop. You're drawing a lot of current there! And its.still charging!!!

Mmkay...next question then is...why does my dash gauge read 2volts low? Ex: 14 volts on multimeter only reads about 12 on dash?
