so i have a set of adj control arms (short arms) and im trying to figure out lengths? i now have a set of fixed lowers on my jeep now with stock uppers. lowers are 16" eye to eye. but i notice that my axle is kicked back quite a bit. and gets really bad when flexing. (pic at full drop 
). now i know short arms just naturaly swing back.. but was hoping my question would help fix this.

i was gonna use this to set the lengths of the new adj CAs. My main question is "would it be bad if i pushed the axled forward and extra half inch to an inch of the measurements provided?"
any help would be great plan on doing this within the next week or two
