  • axle off center issues

    hey guys,

couple questions regarding axle centering stuff.

ok so first of all here is where i'm at, lifted 4 inches adjustable trackbars, i know the basics you're supposed to adjust your bars so they track correctly. unfortunately i can't do this currently and i am wondering if the way i am set up is throwing off my steering. everything feels pretty good to me, but i drive this thing every day so i could not be noticing and i want it right if it will matter.

my rear axle is off center to passenger side because i can't extend the joint in my bar far enough due to a short shank. could this affect that much? not sure exactly how much it's off and can measure if you think it'll make a difference. i read something about this throwing off the thrust angle.

front axle is off to the passenger side as well since the trackbar is too long and i cant compress it anymore. could they be counteracting eachother if they're both off to the same side?

if anyone thinks this is a problem let me know if it will help me to center up better, if not i'll leave it cuz i do have to build a new shorter front trackbar and then buy a longer johnny joint for my rear.

    any input appreciated.

    thanks
