    Little help please,

Xj 5.5 lift getting Clayton long arms in 2 weeks and need to get new shocks I need to knw what you guys think about how much travel my shocks should have. Clayton sells bilsteins for a Xj 5.5 with 11 in travel if I remember right is that enough? I don't want to be held back by my shocks when flexing.

    Thanks.

    11 should be fine

    8" travel for 3" lift

    10" travel for 4.5"

    11 or so for 5.5

general rule of thumb on an xj

I'll let someone else chime in cause i'm alittle biased, but i loved mine. Ten times over.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.
