Evap canister/charcoal canister?

when doing a carb upgrade and nutter, i plan on getting rid of all the emissions stuff. i want to go back to basic motor n carb, can i delete the canister too? i think its bad already just so i dont have to replace it i was wondering if i can get rid of it?

I've done it before on older stuff, just make sure you cap off all the ports you take the lines off.
