  • need help putting head back on.

Anyone interested in lending a hand with helping me put the head back on my tj? I never attempted changing a head gasket before or anything close it so I had a mechanic helping me do it but it's now time to put everything back together and he's nowhere to be found.
I'd really appreciate some help and I'd be more than happy to do all the work since I want to learn anyways....I'd be willing to supply beer and even throw some money in. I'm in a "nice" part of Bridgeport..lol with a garage with plenty of tools.
    thanks everyone.

It should be fairly easy, just make sure your gasket surfaces are clean and oil free, also make sure you know the torque specs/ sequence for the head bolts.

I'd recommend acetone as the degreaser, some new brake kleens leave an oil residue, I recently learned this the hard way.
