  • shock hoops

I'm seriously considering shock hoops so I can fit a decent sized shock in the back with shock mounts that dont hang down.
My questions are... where can I find a "kit" and what size tubing is good to have?
I was looking at this http://www.liquidironindustries.com/...t=0&page=1with the 1.5 tube and straight shock mount, any insight to this would be very helpful..
    Thanks

i run the LII kit and love it. If you know someone with a tube bender you can do it for a lot cheaper tho.

I picked up the LII kit a month ago but didn't install it. Its nice and really takes the guess work out of everything.

sounds good to be but.. what size tubing.. do you think 1.5 would be perfectly fine?
I'm really not that much of a hardcore wheeler.
            Thanks for the feedback btw

regardless of how hardcore you are or not, some tube going from hoop to hoop is good insurance and will keep them from flexing and ultimately cracking in the long run.

i would also not weld it straight to the unibody. plate it first if you havent already, or at least add some plates to spread the load.

In addition to that, and it doesnt really matter too much , but angle them a little so they compress in the direction of suspension travel. on paper this is the ideal way to do it, and it makes the heims/bushings work a little less.
