I bought my jeep and need to put it through emmisons. right now it will not pass with the muffler it has on it(giant hole) so i want to put something on it other then stock for sound and mayby performance I wanted to do a glass pack but that isnt emmison legal so what should i get?

flowmaster 40 sounds real nice, thats the only one I've looked into.

Dynomax is cheap and sounds good. Roughly $40 for the basic one at most parts stores.

Flowmaster sounds best IMHO, but the dynomax is better for those wanting it a bit quieter and less $.

flowmaster is garbage imho. if you want something nice you'll have to pay for it.

borla and magnaflow stainless cat backs are very nice. dynomax is pretty good if youre on a budget, they dont sound all that much different than stock, but you can tell. i hate the way flowmasters sound on a 4.0

Not in CT. His jeep is obd2. There is no inspection. For his jeep it plugs into the obd2 port and thats it.

I run a cherry bomb that ends under the belly of the rig, and as long as my check engine light is off, it always passes.

thrush welded mufflers = flowmaster 40's on the cheap. 35 at autozone its the same exact thing. flowmaster lost their patent a couple years ago. . . flowsounds another knock off thats the same exact thing except black. 35 bucks too

want it a lil quiter get the thrush super turbo. same as dynomax. not too much louder than stock but it sounds good.
