  • Good DD seats

I want to invest in some good seats. My factory ones are worn out and I have already replaced the driver side once before. Anyone have good experiences with anything? Im looking for something that is going to be comfortable enough on a long ride but also something that will hold me in when actually wheeling. I was looking at the Corbeau Baja series seats and they look pretty nice. Not looking to spend a ton of money...maybe 250 at the most for a good seat.

97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.

    Look into PRP's.

They are relatively affordable and make some great quality stuff!!!

The Premier High Backs are $249

The competition high backs, which are what i got for the buggy are $329

    The Roadster Model is $245

And their Daily Driver model is $279

If you don't get a lot of the add-ons they stay pretty close to that price.

For size reference i got the 2 inchs extra wide and the 4 inchs extra tall. And they are perfect, the belt holes are about an inch below my shoulder blade and my butt actually fits on the seats. (I can't fit into Corbeau's because of the way the sides of the seat come up; but i am bigger than you though)

No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

I looked at those too, and as well as the Corbeaus, they require special brackets. The corbeaus require 2 different ones that are almost 150 for both. so the cheap seat isnt so cheap anymore. and to do 2 seats thats well over 600 bucks. With that being said, i found some seats from Rugged Ridge that are actually pretty nice and they bolt to the factory bracket. http://www.quadratec.com/products/24215_02XX_PG.htm

Maybe try losing weight? Then you won't wear out your seats so much.

i modified corbeau's to mount to the stock brackets and sliders from a TJ. wasn't too hard to do.

i'll see if i can dig up some pictures of the brackets i made.
