  • the ford 8.8...

i been reading a lot about this particular swap and if i can find the proper axle (95+ with limited slip) i will be VERY interested, what i wanna know is if anyone here has and experience with this particular swap. any additional info on it would be fawesome. i get the basics of having to weld the tubes in place and redoing the ebrake cable, along with getting a different driveshaft etc etc. but are there any particulars that i NEED to be aware of while doing it...?

You mentioned everything except the driveshaft flange and brake lines. I got mine from a 93 ranger, or you could but them new from some jeep website I can't remember. You also need 2 passenger side brake lines, one goes to the driver side because the stock explorer 8.8 one won't work for a cherokee
