Alternators

Looking to upgrade my alternator. Just picked up a set of cheap subs, and when the bass hits, the lights dim, alternator gauge shoots down. Even when i have just the heat/ac on the alternator doesn't push out much power.

What are some decent upgrades as far as a alternator? where should i pick one up for and what should i take into consideration?

If your running subs, I would run a capacitor in line. It's probably cheaper then upgrading the alternator.
