      how i did it:

      cut shit up

      drop in stock gas tank skid in the hole

      fold the crimped ends of the stock tank in

      weld supports fromside of jeep to side of jeep

      skin with sheet metal

      i made mine removable for ease of maintenance

      might want to use fairly heavy guage metal. i used 22 guage i think and shit bends and folds

      build up a fuel filler rail

      chop off fuel filler at the body.

      relocate 6"ish higher

      weld in place

      weld metal covering up old hole

                    I know it is hard to tell but that is it sitting on the ground the jeep is completely stock usually the gas tank is below the leaf springs.

                    If you go any higher you need to raise the fill right now it only about an 1" lower than the fill.




                    This is how I supported it you can see on the front cross member I raised the shock mounts up as well. I put a couple more braces to support the sheet metal floor.
