Will zj seats fit into an xj, Are they direct bolt on or will they need brackets. Those seats are sooooooo much more comfortable then mine

as far as i know, you need the swap the brackets from your xj to the zj seats, then they will bolt right into your xj

Both ZJ and WJ seats will bolt into your XJ, you just need to swap the XJ seat tracks onto the grand cherokee seats. 4 bolts for each seat. I'd look for a seat with manual recline since you will still be able to fully control the seat manually. If you find an electric recline seat you can control back and forth movement manually but will have to wire power to the recline motor.
