  • header to downpipe bolts

I really should just replace my bent ass downpipe, but im afraid the flange bolts are going to snap instantly. The rust from the bolts and nuts have pretty much fused together. If i snap these, can I tap them out and replace them? or will I have to get a new header. I just had the damn thing off and dont feel like doing it again.

97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.

mine were regular bolts and i was able to push them through. if not cut them flush and drill a hole for nuts and bolts.

They are replaceable and cheap...search flange studs on advanced auto parts site...you can get a set of 2 for like $5

i prefer mechanical locking nuts (not nylocks)

                    mine used to always loosen
