Quick pitman arm question

Do drop pitman arms only extend farther down or do they also extend father back towards the truck as well?

My tie rod and drag link rub when flexed and the angles would work a lot better if the pitman arm extended farther in the horizontal direction.

it should only extend down not back but the box is usually tilted back which will make it extend back a little.

There are some pitman arms for other vehicles with the same spline that might be longer if you got the wrong/correct one depending on how you look at it.

Waggy pitman arms will bolt up and are around 1 1/2" longer throw IIRC. Stock vs. Stock they are much flatter than an XJ pitman though, so you may need a Waggy drop pitman.
