Oil Pressure ?

When i start my jeep its at 40. When i drive stays around 40 When on the gas. As soon as i drive for a while and come to a stop drops to 0 check gages light comes on tap the gas goes up. Any one have this problem im thinking its the sending unit ?

most likely the sending unit unless you hear knocking then it's the pump..

it's usually the sensor. surefire way to make sure is to hook up a mechanical guage
