  • Wheels for tj

    Just bought an 03 wrangler. i am going to do a 4 inch rough country lift. and im going to get some after market wheels. how much backspacing will i need for it to look good, perform well, and be partialy legal ? also any wheels sugestions? i am looking for something with some chrome i think but not tooo flashhhy
    -98 XJ 4.5" lift , 35's, trimmed, locked, geared, flexy
    -14 Subaru STI hatch Stage 2ish
    -54 Dodge Power wagon M-37
    -57 GMC Pickup
    -Tim (OIIIIIO)

    3.75" backspacing, my 35's would rub the lower control arms when I had 4" backspacing, not horribly, but still rubbed

    Ideally youll need extended flares to be legal, I ran 6" flares in the rear and stock flares on the front and never had an issue with the law (tires look fully covered if a cop is behind ya)

    how much you looking to spend on rims ?

      marooon it is an 03 wrangler i am going to get pics when i put the lift in, but i think i am going to get the mickey thompson custom 2's and dick cepek mud countries

            33" general grabber at2, same as bfg a/t

              im lookin for something that has alot of sidewall tred so it looks, good. it is going to be a show jeep not for wheeling soooo

                my 33" adventuro m/t's had some nice side lug to them
                not sure how cheap you can find them though, they sell tires where i work so i got them $125 each
