I searched around a bit and im not finding anything. What are the downsides to running tubes in tires? My beadlocks leak and im thinkin about just getting tubes.

mike tubed his cj with no ill effects. all the guys that run line mt said they did it without tubes the first year and killed a ton of tires and with the tubes it was night and day difference.

Im just wondering what the down sides are.
I think that the tubes probably helped prevent those guys from popping the beads and maybe gave them a little more resistance to punctures.2 Broncos are better than 1Comment

the only thing I would worry about is spinning the tube and tearing a valve stem.
